Are you still making water by going to

your purifier and depositing blood into

it? That has to stop, especially if

you're working towards your very own

buggy and ornithopter. I did this as a

solo player. And the one thing that

helped me tremendously here is the

Framman death still. It's this little

thing. You put a corpse into it. Yes, we

can now pick up corpses. And in 1 hour,

I'll get 25,000 water from this. The

good thing is that in that 1 hour I can

do whatever I want. I don't have to keep

collecting the blood to go back to

deposit the blood to keep collecting the

blood to go back to deposit the blood. I

can do resource runs, servox, whatever.

And if I then return after that hour,

I'll have 25,000 water that I can use

for crafting, put a new corpse in, and

do the same. The main thing that held me

back from getting my buggy was not

having enough water to make the iron, to

make the steel, to make the cobalt

paste, everything I actually needed. And

that gets amplified towards the honor

thopter because you need 70,000 water to

make that one. And if you want to be

really crazy, you build 50,000 water

storage, throw your blood purifier out

of the window, and just put two of these

death stills out. So you get every hour

50,000 water. Bam. Now, don't get me

wrong, you could still purify blood on

top of all of this, but it's not

necessary anymore. Now, what do we

actually need to unlock the death still?

Because this one is going to be a bit

tricky. And then, how do we fit the

power usage requirements, which is

actually 200. And where do we easily

find all the resources? Complex

machinery. In order to unlock the death

still, you don't need intel points. You

actually need to finish quests. And in

this case, it would be the first eight

tests, these trials that you keep

getting sent to where the first one is

in the hogerbas south and the further

ones take you all around the map. Now,

in order to find out their locations,

you can go into your journey menu and

then click on view trial location behind

me and it'll give you a hint otherwise.

Otherwise, there's a Dune interactive

map in the description below that could

show you the location of every single

trial and also second, third, fourth.

So, the order you actually need to do

them in. My tip here is that you really

want to knock out that fifths trial, the

sixth, and the seventh in one go. I did

the first four easily and then I

actually let the fifths lie until I was

very deep into the steel era already.

Then knocked out 5, 6, 7, and eight is

actually going to be a bit tricky. That

is the siege over here because number

eight has a little riddle that you need

to solve where you have to match the

right symbols to what the Fman dude is

saying on the side. Before you get to

that riddle, you need to put the planets

in the right order in the eighth trial

to even open the door. And this

information you got from the all prior

trials before. Now we all forget what

they actually said. So this would be the

planet order to tell them go 1 2 3 4 5 6

7 and you're in. And then for the next

riddle, for the first part, you need

bind, dune, and grass. Then for the

second one, it's planting, shelter, and

downwind according symbols you can find

on the walls. And for the last one, it's

animal, ariate, and soil. But soil in

this case means sand. Which leads you to

the final riddle of putting the circles

in the right order. Now, I did play

around with this and get it done because

it was quite fun. If you want to have it

easy before playing around, you turn the

inner ring two times, then you turn the

middle ring one time and the outer ring

two times. That should be enough to

align everything, and your companion

will say, "Well done." This will finally

unlock the Death Still for you. Now, the

Death Stone needs a lot of steel ingots,

silicone blocks, and most importantly,

that complex machinery, and it also has

a 200 power requirement. So in order to

power this, I did build myself a good

old wind turbine omnidirectional. This

wants you to have calibrated servox and

also cobalt paste and the steel ingots.

The steel ingots you easily get over in

the double effort elarp and I'm

currently here in the top left corner of

the western miocab because that's where

all the carbon ore is. For the paste,

you can just drive into the rift to

easily get yourself the athite crystals.

But now, how does it look for the servok

run and the complex machinery? For

complex machinery, I like to hit the

western vermilious gap. Top left corner

where the rackage here is. And we're

hitting up the northwest Iron Works two

locations here. We're just pull our way

all the way to the Tividi. Walk up all

the ladders. And don't forget while

you're doing this, while you're getting

all this complex machinery, servox, and

that kind of stuff, this will also all

be needed to actually make your buggy,

which then afterwards allows you to farm

resources like you've never done before.

On your way up, you interact with every

piece of machinery as that has the

complex machinery in it. And in the room

at the tippity top, you have even more

machinery that you can claim. This

resets chestwise every 45 minutes. I

mean, it doesn't hurt to actually get

yourself more blueprints. And the

machines itself should be every 30.

There's one more in the corner that

gives even more complex machinery, tons.

Generally speaking, any animal base that

has any kind of machine in it. Try to

loot them because complex machinery can

be had everywhere. Now, for servs in

this stuff, I like to cross over still.

Top left corner, western vermilious gap.

Here's all my carbon. And you get the

eastern jumble and also the pitter's

net. And over there, we're not actually

fighting a single opponent. Instead,

we're making our way up to the base

with a little suspenser le. And then

inside the base, we're rushing through

past all these guys to just loot the

Why would we fight for our loot when we

can also just myself that identification

and get ourself all the cool things

This gets me also complex machinery as I

said and even more cobalt paste if I

wanted to plus ath crystals so you can

get some of the mats without even going

for it. And then you already leave.

There's two more chests in there. You

just got to build your routine up. And

it's night right now, so I don't

actually see them very well. And I'm

already off to the next base for the

next amount of servox. The maximum

amount I've gotten from one run of this

has been 80 servox. Yeah, 80. And in

order to build your buggy, you need 21

over there, 21 for this. We need 20

servox there. This is particle

capacitors. Particle capacitors. another

seven servox per tread, you get the

drift. You'll have to do this two, three

times to get all your servox for the

buggy, but it's easy as cake. Now, since

we talked about the buggy, the particle

capacitors I get from my Imperial

testing station number 13, which is also

extremely close to my home base.

Generally speaking, this is probably the

best base location in the game. I have

the video linked in the description

below and at the end of the video. On

your way back to your base, don't forget

to pick up as much carbon as you can and

also load that in the inventory of your

bike. And in not even 15 hours, this got

me to my buggy and also to my death

still. Now, I'll say with the knowledge

I acquired in the last day, I could have

done the whole thing in 10 hours, even

less solo. Now, since I've been

recording the video and talking to you

running around doing this stuff, I have

spent some time and then in the next 28

minutes, I'll just have my 25,000 water.

So, if you get yourself two death

stilts, you'll just log in in the

morning, kill two dudes close by,

collect their corpses, dump them in,

come back online in the evening, midday

later, 50,000 water, all your crafting

needs done. You can just pump out the

resources. And while you're playing, you

put two more. You'll have 100,000 water

in that day to deal with.

Just like that. This is how the pros do

it. This is how the deep desert players

do it. They just ignore that blood

purifier. At this point, I might as well

just disable it because I want to save

the 35 power and I could build myself

that second death still easily. One

thing I forgot to mention is at the very

end of the eighth trial, you're also

getting Aries pistol. Aries pistol does

34.5 damage per shot and just uses light

darts. If I would now make myself a

standard disruptor pistol with iron

ingots, the standard disruptor pistol

does 10 damage. And what about an

artisan smaller pistol? So the steel

ingot pistol that's doing 16.4 damage.

You get an absolute destruction gun just

like that. just by doing quests and

you're going to fly through the levels.

Anyways, I'm currently sitting at level

53. Before I started doing the quests

and going through the motions, I was

sitting at level 42. I I just made 11

levels with trial 5, 6, 7, 8, and on the

way, I knocked out one or two quests

that I had to do as well.

Tada. You now want to see the best base

location or items you absolutely cannot

miss because it makes your bike the

fastest on Arais. Enjoy and have a
